I was just watching this video of him talking, and it really made me stop and think. He says that it is not about how many years we have in our lives, but the small moments we spend together that really count. He looks so calm and thoughtful here, just sharing what is on his heart. It is such a good reminder for all of us to slow down and cherish every single minute we get. Life moves so fast, and we should try our best to be present with the people we love. Today is always a tough day as we remember the December 2021 tornado that changed Dresden forever. I was talking with Richard and Connie this morning about how scary that night was. But looking around now, all I feel is hope. The way neighbors helped neighbors, sharing food and clearing trees, showed the true heart of Weakley County. We will never forget what we lost, but we are so thankful for what we have rebuilt together.
