Richard and Brian dragged me to the local hardware store in town this morning for some spring projects. I actually didn鈥檛 mind because we ended up talking to half the town while we were in the aisles! That is the thing about Dresden鈥攜ou can鈥檛 run a quick errand without stopping to chat with your neighbors. The town is buzzing with people fixing up their yards and homes for the warm weather.

Here is another one of my favorite pictures with my dad! We were having such a good time at Thanksgiving in Dresden back in 2019. I love how happy we both look in this photo. It is so important to stop and take pictures like this when the whole family is together. These are the moments I never want to forget. My dad always knows how to make me laugh, and being back home in Dresden for the holidays is always the best feeling in the world.

I am so glad I found this photo from Thanksgiving back in 2019. It was such a nice day in Dresden with my dad, Richard. We always have a great time when the whole family gets together for the holidays. Looking at this picture reminds me of all the good food we ate and the funny stories we told that afternoon. My dad is a huge part of my life, and I really treasure these memories of us together. It was a perfect day to stop and be thankful for family.

Dawne spent her last morning searching for houses in Wildwood. Her final wish was for us to move there, to be close to her father and the nursing home he was in. That is why Wildwood means so much to us. She always had such a beautiful heart, constantly thinking about how to care for the people she loved and how to keep our family together. This place will always hold a special piece of her spirit and her dream for us.

Here is a great look back at July of 2020 when Carter, Adam, and I were spending some fun time out at Lake Freeman. These restored photos really bring the amazing memory back to life for me. The sun was just starting to go down, the summer weather was absolutely perfect, and we were just enjoying being out there together. It is a simple moment, but those simple days are usually the best ones.

Here is another absolute gem from our 2003 family trip down to Mississippi! While our previous shot was a perfectly planned pose, this one captures the funny, candid reality of the day. Dawne is all smiles for the camera, while little Devon decided to play shy and bury his face in laughter. It is such a sweet, spontaneous snapshot of our family travel adventures in the early 2000s.

Here is a beautiful travel memory from our family trip to Tunica, Mississippi back in 2003! Dawne is absolutely beaming while holding a tiny baby Carter in her arms. The bright natural light of the hotel lobby perfectly matches the wonderful energy of the moment, making it a snapshot of pure happiness and a truly great family memory from the archives.

Here is a really sweet, quiet moment at home from the family archives! This picture shows Dawne relaxing on the couch in Fishers back in January of 2003, with a giant Scooby-Doo plush toy and a very young Carter resting right nearby. It perfectly captures the simple, wonderful reality of that year, completely filled with sippy cups, cartoons, and peaceful downtime together.

The town looks so beautiful with all the Christmas lights up. Brenda really outdid herself decorating the house this year, too! We drove through Dresden to see the holiday displays, and it just warms my heart. After the darkness of the storms a few years ago, seeing the town lit up so bright for the holidays is a beautiful reminder of our resilience. Merry Christmas from the Killebrew family to yours!

Started the morning off right with breakfast in town! Connie and I had coffee while Richard and Brian ordered huge plates of eggs and biscuits. Supporting the local diners is so important, especially after everything the business owners went through during the recovery. It is always loud and happy in there, with everyone shouting hello across the tables. It really feels like home.

The Tennessee Iris Festival is always my favorite time of year in Dresden! Brenda, Connie, and I walked around looking at all the beautiful flowers and enjoying the parade. It is so wonderful to see the town full of life and color again. Even though we have been through a lot the past few years, events like this remind us of how strong and joyful our community really is. The Killebrew family never misses the festival!

Our kitchen on Grover Ridge Drive is not just for cooking, it is definitely the main hub for conversation and connection! These candid shots capture the relaxed social atmosphere of our day, showing me checking photo results on the camera while everyone else enjoyed their morning coffee. It is a very genuine look at the fun time we spent together right in between the posed portraits.
