Here is a great, casual picture of me just hanging out in our kitchen in Wildwood back in 2018. I love this shot because it is just a simple, everyday moment that perfectly shows off my fun personality. I had on my bright pink hat with the little heart and a hilarious blue t-shirt that says "I LIKE BIG MUTTS" across the front. I was just holding a pillow and relaxing by the counter when took this. It is always the quiet, normal days at home like this one that end up being some of our absolute favorite memories to look back on.

Here is a great picture of me and celebrating my actual birthday in Wildwood on February 26th, 2020. We got a huge sheet cake covered in glowing candles, and they even put a funny "26" on there for my special day! I was sitting at the table, and wore a black turtleneck for our cozy celebration at home. You can even see my birthday cards and a little bit of gift money sitting right next to the cake. It was such a fun and happy evening celebrating together, and my smile says it all.

May in Weakley County means it is finally time for the Tennessee Iris Festival right here in Dresden. My mom, Connie, always loved seeing the whole town come alive during this time of year. The festival dates all the way back to the 1930s to celebrate our beautiful state flower. The historic Moran House sits so beautifully during the spring season when the blooms come out. Our family has always enjoyed the deep sense of community and local pride that this incredible festival brings to the downtown square.
